The general rules governing access to and use of Lovaio.

Welcome to Lovaio
Lovaio is a global community platform designed to connect travelers around the world. Our mission is to make travel more affordable, sustainable and accessible by helping travelers exchange, sell, give away and discover travel-related items, knowledge and opportunities.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lovaio platform, website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
1. About Lovaio
Lovaio is a global community platform that connects travelers to help them exchange, give away, sell, discover and share travel-related items, knowledge and opportunities.
Lovaio is designed to make travel more affordable, sustainable and accessible by enabling connections between members of the travel community.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Lovaio is not:
- a marketplace;
- a retailer;
- a travel agency;
- an auction platform;
- a payment institution;
- an escrow provider;
- a logistics provider;
- an insurance provider.
Our role
Lovaio provides technological tools that enable travelers to connect and communicate.
Any arrangement between travelers is made solely between the participating users.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Platform only if:
- you are at least eighteen (18) years old or have reached the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction;
- you have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
- your use of the Platform complies with applicable laws.
Previously suspended accounts
You may not use the Platform if your account has previously been suspended or terminated by Lovaio unless we expressly authorize you to create a new account.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to:
- provide accurate and truthful information;
- keep your information up to date;
- maintain only one personal account unless expressly permitted;
- immediately notify Lovaio if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Account responsibility
You remain responsible for all activities conducted through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.
Lovaio reserves the right to request additional verification where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform or its users.
4. The Platform
Lovaio provides a platform that enables travelers to connect with one another.
Depending on the available features, travelers may:
- publish travel-related content;
- offer travel-related items;
- request travel-related items;
- exchange items;
- give away items;
- sell travel-related items;
- communicate with other travelers;
- arrange personal meetings;
- organize cost sharing where permitted;
- leave reviews;
- participate in community activities.
Platform limitations
Lovaio is not a party to agreements concluded between travelers.
Users are solely responsible for evaluating other travelers before entering into any arrangement.
Lovaio does not guarantee that any traveler will complete an arrangement or act honestly, safely or lawfully.
5. Traveler Content
You are solely responsible for all content that you create, upload, publish, transmit or otherwise make available through the Platform ("Traveler Content").
Traveler Content may include, but is not limited to:
- listings;
- descriptions;
- photographs;
- videos;
- messages;
- reviews;
- comments;
- profile information;
- travel recommendations;
- other user-generated content.
Your representations
You represent and warrant that:
- you own the Traveler Content or have all necessary rights to publish it;
- your Traveler Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- your Traveler Content does not violate applicable law;
- your Traveler Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
License granted to Lovaio
By publishing Traveler Content, you grant Lovaio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify where technically necessary, display, distribute and make available such content solely for the operation, maintenance, improvement, promotion and security of the Platform.
You retain ownership of your Traveler Content.
Deletion and restriction
You may delete your Traveler Content at any time, subject to technical limitations, legal obligations and legitimate operational needs such as fraud prevention, dispute resolution and backup systems.
Lovaio may remove or restrict access to Traveler Content that violates these Terms, applicable law or the safety of the Platform.
6. Traveler Arrangements
Lovaio provides tools that enable travelers to communicate and make independent arrangements with one another.
All arrangements made through the Platform are solely between the participating travelers.
Lovaio does not:
- own the listed items;
- inspect listed items;
- guarantee the accuracy of listings;
- guarantee the identity of travelers;
- guarantee successful completion of any arrangement;
- guarantee the quality, legality or safety of any item or service.
Traveler responsibilities
Travelers are solely responsible for:
- evaluating the other party;
- agreeing on the terms of their arrangement;
- complying with applicable laws;
- arranging payment, delivery or personal meetings where applicable.
Disputes between travelers
Lovaio is not responsible for disputes arising between travelers.
Where permitted by law, users agree to attempt to resolve disputes directly with one another before requesting assistance from Lovaio.
Any assistance provided by Lovaio is voluntary and does not create any legal obligation to resolve disputes.
7. Community Standards
Lovaio is built on trust, respect and cooperation.
By using the Platform, you agree to treat other travelers respectfully and honestly.
You must not:
- harass, threaten or intimidate others;
- publish false or misleading information;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- engage in fraud or deceptive practices;
- manipulate reviews or ratings;
- spam other users;
- publish illegal, offensive or harmful content;
- misuse the Platform for commercial activities unrelated to travel without our permission.
Reporting and enforcement
Users are encouraged to report behavior that may violate these Terms or threaten the safety of the community.
Repeated or serious violations may result in warnings, content removal, account restrictions or permanent suspension.
8. Artificial Intelligence and Moderation
Lovaio may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to help detect spam, fraud, scams, prohibited content, policy violations and other activities that may negatively affect the Platform or its users.
Automated systems may assist in:
- content moderation;
- fraud detection;
- spam prevention;
- trust and safety measures;
- translation;
- content recommendations;
- platform improvements;
- customer support.
Automated decisions and review
Automated decisions may result in content removal, reduced visibility, temporary restrictions or other moderation actions.
Where required by applicable law, users may request a review of significant moderation decisions.
Artificial intelligence assists human moderation but does not guarantee perfect accuracy.
Lovaio reserves the right to make final moderation decisions at its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
Users must not intentionally attempt to manipulate, deceive or circumvent automated moderation systems.
9. Reviews and Reputation
Lovaio may provide a review and reputation system to help travelers make informed decisions.
Following the completion of an arrangement, travelers may be invited to leave reviews about their experience.
Reviews must:
- reflect genuine personal experiences;
- be truthful and accurate;
- remain respectful;
- comply with these Terms and applicable law.
Prohibited review conduct
Users must not:
- submit fake or misleading reviews;
- offer or accept compensation in exchange for reviews;
- manipulate ratings;
- create multiple accounts to influence reputation.
Review limitations
Lovaio may remove reviews that violate these Terms or applicable law.
The availability of reviews does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of any traveler.
11. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law;
- infringe the rights of others;
- submit false or misleading information;
- use the Platform for unlawful purposes;
- distribute malware or malicious code;
- attempt unauthorized access to the Platform;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Platform;
- scrape, harvest or collect user data without authorization;
- create fake accounts;
- impersonate another individual or organization;
- manipulate search results or recommendations;
- misuse reviews or ratings;
- attempt to bypass Platform restrictions;
- use automated tools or bots without our prior written permission;
- use the Platform for commercial activities unrelated to its intended purpose.
Enforcement
Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
12. Trust and Safety
The safety of our community is a priority.
Lovaio may implement reasonable measures designed to promote a trustworthy environment, including:
- identity verification;
- account verification;
- fraud detection;
- scam prevention;
- suspicious activity monitoring;
- risk-based account restrictions;
- reporting systems;
- content moderation.
Safety limitations
These measures are intended to improve user safety but do not eliminate all risks.
Users remain responsible for exercising reasonable judgment when interacting with others.
If you believe another user presents a safety risk or violates these Terms, you are encouraged to report the matter through the Platform.
13. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its software, design, trademarks, logos, graphics, text, databases and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to Lovaio and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not:
- copy;
- reproduce;
- modify;
- distribute;
- reverse engineer;
- create derivative works from;
- commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission from Lovaio.
Lovaio brand
"Lovaio", its logos and associated branding are protected trademarks or trade dress where applicable.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Lovaio's intellectual property to users.
14. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, products or services.
Lovaio does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, products or services.
Your use of third-party services is governed solely by the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
Integration with third-party services does not constitute an endorsement, partnership or guarantee by Lovaio unless expressly stated.
Lovaio shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of third-party services.
15. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us.
Lovaio processes personal data in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws, including, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Our collection, use, storage and protection of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of your use of the Platform.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Suspension and Termination
Lovaio may suspend, restrict or terminate your account if we reasonably believe that:
- you have violated these Terms;
- you have violated applicable law;
- your activity presents a risk to other users;
- your account has been used fraudulently;
- your conduct threatens the security, integrity or operation of the Platform.
Enforcement notice
Where appropriate, Lovaio may provide a warning before taking enforcement action.
Nothing in these Terms limits our ability to take immediate action where necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users, prevent fraud or address urgent security risks.
Closing your account
You may close your account at any time through the Platform or by contacting Lovaio.
Termination of your account does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
Certain provisions of these Terms shall survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution and any provisions that by their nature are intended to survive.
17. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Lovaio does not warrant that:
- the Platform will always be available;
- the Platform will operate without interruption;
- the Platform will be error-free;
- all information provided by users is accurate;
- travelers will act honestly or lawfully;
- arrangements between travelers will be successfully completed.
Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lovaio disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lovaio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, including loss of profits, business opportunities, goodwill, data or reputation arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
Lovaio is not responsible for:
- arrangements made between travelers;
- disputes between travelers;
- the conduct of users;
- the condition, legality, safety or quality of listed items;
- failed transactions;
- delayed communications;
- interruptions caused by third-party services;
- events beyond our reasonable control.
Mandatory liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
19. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lovaio, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
- your use of the Platform;
- your Traveler Content;
- your arrangements with other travelers;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of applicable law;
- your infringement of the rights of another person or entity.
Survival
This obligation survives the termination of your account where permitted by applicable law.
20. Changes to these Terms
Lovaio may update these Terms from time to time in order to:
- improve the Platform;
- introduce new features or services;
- comply with changes in applicable law;
- improve safety and security;
- clarify existing provisions;
- respond to technological developments.
Notice and acceptance
Where required by applicable law, we will provide reasonable notice before material changes become effective.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may close your account.
21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws determined in accordance with applicable legislation.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available under the laws applicable to you.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, both you and Lovaio agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law unless another dispute resolution procedure is required by law.

23. Assignment
Lovaio may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring or sale of assets.
Users may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations without Lovaio's prior written consent.
24. Waiver
Failure by Lovaio to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of any other provision.
25. Force Majeure
Lovaio shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, cyberattacks, governmental actions, internet outages or failures of third-party providers.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lovaio regarding the Platform.
