Rules governing the use of AI-generated content, automated systems, AI-assisted moderation and responsible use of artificial intelligence on the Lovaio Platform.

1. Introduction
Welcome to the Lovaio AI Content & Automated Systems Policy.
Lovaio may use artificial intelligence ("AI") and other automated systems to improve the Platform, enhance user experience, support Marketplace safety and assist with operational efficiency.
This Policy explains how AI-generated content and automated systems may be used on the Platform, together with the responsibilities of users and Lovaio.
AI technologies are intended to support users and Platform operations. They do not replace human judgment where human review is appropriate. AI is intended to assist rather than replace responsible human decision-making where appropriate.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Content Moderation & Reporting Policy, Trust & Safety Policy, Marketplace Policy and all other applicable Platform policies.

Lovaio may use AI systems to:

- enhance Marketplace safety;
- detect spam;
- identify potential fraud;
- improve translations;
- assist with customer support;

- improve accessibility;
- support Platform development;
AI output quality
AI systems are intended to improve efficiency but may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete results.
Outputs may vary depending on the information available and the capabilities of the underlying technologies.
4. Human Oversight
Where appropriate, decisions involving significant consequences for users may include human review.
Human review may be particularly appropriate where:

- significant Marketplace enforcement is involved;
- complex moderation decisions are required;
- users submit appeals;
- applicable law requires additional review;

- complies with Platform policies;

User responsibility
Users remain responsible for all content they publish, regardless of whether AI assisted in its creation.

Where appropriate, Lovaio may inform users when they are interacting with AI-powered features or when content has been generated or significantly assisted by AI.
Depending on the relevant feature, Lovaio may indicate:
- AI-generated summaries;
- automated translations;
- AI-assisted recommendations;
- AI-generated descriptions;
- AI-assisted customer support;
- other AI-generated outputs;
Transparency
The manner of providing such information may evolve as Platform features develop.
7. AI Limitations
AI systems may occasionally:
- generate inaccurate information;
- misunderstand context;
- produce incomplete responses;
- make translation errors;
- fail to detect certain policy violations;
- incorrectly identify potentially suspicious behaviour;
Independent judgment
Users should exercise independent judgment and verify important information where appropriate.
AI-generated outputs should not be treated as legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Lovaio may use AI-assisted tools to help identify:

Human review
Automated systems assist moderation but do not necessarily make final enforcement decisions.

Recommendations are not endorsements
Recommendations are intended to improve user experience and do not constitute endorsements by Lovaio.
10. Prohibited Uses of AI
Users must not use AI through or in connection with the Platform to:
- facilitate fraud;
- impersonate other individuals;
- create fake identities;
- generate misleading reviews;
- produce deceptive Marketplace listings;
- infringe intellectual property rights;
- create unlawful content;
- manipulate Platform systems;
- engage in other prohibited activities;
Enforcement
Violations may result in enforcement action under the Terms of Service and other applicable Platform policies.
11. AI and Fraud Prevention
Lovaio may use AI-assisted systems to help identify patterns that may indicate:
- fraudulent transactions;
- account abuse;
- fake identities;
- coordinated scams;
- payment-related risks;
- unusual Platform activity;
- attempts to circumvent Platform rules;
Automated detection
Detection by automated systems does not necessarily mean that a violation has occurred.
Additional review may be conducted where appropriate before enforcement action is taken.
12. User Responsibilities
Users remain solely responsible for all content they publish.
Users should carefully review AI-assisted content before publishing or relying upon it.

- complying with applicable laws;
- respecting intellectual property rights;
- ensuring that AI-generated content complies with Platform policies;
Legal responsibility
The use of AI does not reduce or transfer a user's legal responsibilities.
13. Intellectual Property and AI
Users must ensure that AI-generated or AI-assisted content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
Where required by applicable law, users are responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, licences or rights before publishing AI-generated content.
Lovaio may remove AI-generated content where reasonably necessary to address alleged intellectual property violations or other legal concerns.
14. Data Protection
The use of AI technologies by Lovaio is subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Where AI systems process personal data, such processing will be carried out in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Lovaio may use third-party AI service providers where appropriate and subject to applicable contractual, security and privacy safeguards. Such providers may process information on Lovaio's behalf in accordance with applicable agreements and legal requirements.
15. Appeals
Users who believe that an AI-assisted decision has been applied incorrectly may request further review where such review is available.
Appeals should include:

Submitting an appeal does not automatically suspend enforcement measures while the review is ongoing.

Platform responsibility
The use of third-party AI services does not transfer responsibility for Platform operations to such providers.

Lovaio reserves the right to introduce, modify, suspend or discontinue AI-powered features where reasonably necessary to improve Platform functionality, user experience, safety, fraud prevention or compliance with applicable laws.
No guarantee
Nothing in this Policy guarantees the continuous availability, accuracy or completeness of AI-generated outputs.
Users should independently verify important information before making significant decisions.
Severability
If any provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
