1. Introduction

Welcome to the Lovaio Prohibited Items Policy.

The purpose of this Policy is to protect users, maintain a trustworthy Marketplace and ensure compliance with applicable laws by identifying categories of goods and services that may not be offered, requested, exchanged or otherwise promoted through the Lovaio Platform.

While Lovaio provides technology that enables users to connect and communicate, it does not permit the use of the Marketplace for unlawful, dangerous or inappropriate activities.

Lovaio acts solely as a technology platform connecting users and does not buy, sell, own or take possession of items offered by users unless expressly stated otherwise.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Marketplace Policy, Community Guidelines, Trust & Safety Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and all other legal documents published by Lovaio.

Policy scope

The absence of a specific item from this Policy does not mean that it is permitted.

Risk-based assessment

The specific enforcement measure applied will depend on the seriousness of the violation, the available evidence and the potential risk posed to users or the Platform. Enforcement measures are determined using a risk-based assessment.

Listing removal

Importantly, the decision to remove a listing or restrict Marketplace access does not necessarily mean that an item is illegal under applicable law.

Lovaio may also take action where content conflicts with our internal policies, creates unreasonable safety risks or could undermine trust in the Marketplace.

16. Reporting Prohibited Listings

Maintaining a safe and trustworthy Marketplace is a shared responsibility.

Users are encouraged to report listings, advertisements or Marketplace activity that they reasonably believe violates this Policy or applicable laws.

Policy scope

Nothing in this Policy should be interpreted as an exhaustive list of every item or activity that may be prohibited on the Platform. New categories of prohibited items may be introduced without prior inclusion in this illustrative list.

Lovaio reserves the right to remove, restrict or refuse any listing, item, service or Marketplace activity where we reasonably determine that it:

  • violates this Policy;
  • violates applicable law;
  • creates unacceptable safety, legal or operational risks;
  • may facilitate fraud or abuse;
  • could damage the integrity, reputation or reliability of the Platform;

Platform standards

The decision to remove content or restrict Marketplace access does not necessarily imply that the relevant item is unlawful under applicable law.

Lovaio may also enforce its own Marketplace standards to maintain a safe, trustworthy and reliable environment for all users.

If any provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
