Lovaio Safety Guide
Lovaio helps travelers find each other. The actual lending or borrowing arrangement is made directly between you, so a few simple steps can make the handover clearer and safer for both sides.
Look at the member's profile, rating, completed transactions and available history. If something feels wrong, do not proceed.
Confirm exactly what is being lent, where and when it will be handed over, the return date, and whether any deposit or other condition applies.
Use a public, well-lit place whenever practical. Tell someone where you are going if you are meeting a stranger.
Inspect the item together and take clear photos of its condition, including existing damage, accessories and a serial number if relevant.
Use the Lovaio Handover Record to note the item, its condition, the return date and the terms you agreed. Both people should keep a copy.
You may ask to see an ID when appropriate, but avoid storing or sharing unnecessary personal data. Never post another person's ID publicly.
Agree in advance what happens if the item is lost, returned late or damaged. Keep the agreement simple and specific.
When the item comes back, inspect it together, take a final photo if useful, and confirm that the handover is complete.
Coming with Lovaio Premium
Premium will make the process quicker with guided steps, photos, digital confirmation and a handover history inside Lovaio. The free guide and downloadable record will remain available to everyone.
